Everyone at Main Event Entertainment was kind, personable, and resourceful! The showcase is such a great way to get to know DJ(s) prior to choosing a company and/or DJ for your wedding. All of our questions were answered, and we never felt pressured to go with any of the DJs we met or make any decisions that night. I think every company should host events like this. By attending, it alleviate any stress we had about hiring our DJ for our wedding and learned a ton of information about a wonderful company, who truly enjoys what they do and how well they treat the couples they work with! I would absolutely recommend Main Event Entertainment as well as recommend attending on of their showcases!

Joey was amazing!! We are still getting compliments on how great the DJ was! He played a great variety of music and he knew what music got the crowd going! Everyone including my 80 year old grandparents were up on the dance floor with their hands up! He went above and beyond and made our wedding day one we will never forget. He was involving the crowd, played the music we asked for and I can honestly say we do not have one bad thing to say! I would hire him again and again and again. I have recommended him to all my friends who are getting married. The BEST DJ, I promise you that!

Joey was AMAZING! We could not have asked for or had a better experience. Extremely accommodating, very detailed, energetic, and have not heard anything but positive feedback about our choice in DJ. The dance floor was packed from start to finish (exactly what we wanted)! We are so thankful, and will use him for all future events. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Dan Pelletier was unbelievable, my wife and I are more than satisfied with his professionalism from the first time we met him up to the completion of our wedding. DJ Kibar was absolutely top notch. He kept up with us in terms of contact and information from booking up until our wedding date. He would check in with us periodically and had meetings in order to make sure we had all of our main musical selections chosen and organized. He ensured our wedding ran smoothly and worked great with our coordinator. He played piano for our ceremony and it was fantastic. Our guests loved his transitions and kept complimenting his DJ’ing style and he took care in what music was played for our wedding based on our tastes. We felt very confident during the whole process and happy with our choice in DJ. He takes pride in his work and it really shows.
DJ Kevin Maldonado was fantastic at our holiday party for children & adults with special needs. We originally asked him to keep the sound low due to sensory concerns, but it turned out our folks loved the louder dance music! Kevin had everyone up on the floor, dancing until the end! He was very professional and considerate, and played the Happy Birthday song for one of our kids. He also accommodated requests and probably played “YMCA” at least twice. Kevin M. will be our choice to DJ for our next party. 🙂
Meagan was absolutely phenomenal to work with. She quickly followed up with us to set up a meeting and get expectations and plans and had our videos and photos back to us before I was even back to my house from our wedding weekend! She did such a good job capturing everyone’s reactions and giving us the most heartwarming video! Highly recommend!
DJ Kevin Sawler was everything we hoped for. He was professional and made some good suggestions that were used at the wedding. Kevin is excellent at his craft. We enjoyed working with him.

The Mile Away
My husband and I could not be more happy that we were matched with Tom Darling for our wedding. From the moment we met Tom prior to the wedding we knew he was going to be an incredible dj. He was easy to talk to, had multiple options for songs to play for different events throughout the night and went out of his way to make sure the songs we wanted played he was able to find. Our guest raved about the music throughout the wedding night and commented on the amazing energy Tom brought. In addition, we were lucky to have Justin Mellan who assisted Tom. He was equally as energetic! Both Tom and Justin made a point to check in with us throughout the night, kept the guest on the dance floor (no joke, our dance floor was never bare), and overall made the night one we’ll never forget!

DJ Rick Lee was incredible!! We knew from the time we first hopped on the phone with him that DJ Rick would bring the energy and expertise needed to make our wedding amazing. He truly outdid our already high expectations! The music throughout the night was exactly what we needed for a very diverse group to have fun across the board. We highly recommend DJ Rick to anyone looking for an exceptional DJ!
Our DJ Rick Lee was absolutely amazing and NAILED the energy of the room. He brought the party and kept it going all night long. He was very respectful of our “do not play” list & made sure all age groups were satisfied with the song choices in order to get everyone on the dance floor! Our favorite part of the entire wedding was the bridal party entrance and the dancing at the end of the night. He was so patient and supportive of any/all ideas our bridal parties had for their entrance & like I previously said, he got the party started right away and he kept the dance floor alive all night long. He was even able to convert songs that he did not have in order to make our day exactly what we wanted. He even came up with his own ideas to give away our center pieces (so it was one less thing I had to think about!! haha) I cannot say enough good things about DJ Rick Lee. 10/10 would recommend.

Hayden was our DJ for our wedding on 1.21.24. He was spectacular throughout the entire day and every meeting leading up to the wedding. We definitely didn’t make it easy for him during our meetings but he worked through it with us and was extremely courteous & professional each time. DJ Dan was INCREDIBLE– from helping to plan our music, to understanding our wedding timeline, communication and day-of he was so great, especially with making sure the sound at the ceremony was perfect, (we had no electricity there either) and the dance floor was NEVER empty, it was perfect.
The PhotoBooth was a HUGE hit at our wedding!! The attendants were so awesome and easy to work with. My husband and I are so glad we chose to get the PhotoBooth. Our guests had a blast taking pictures!

Dan Pelletier was such a great DJ for our graduate school formal. He was sure to take our song requests without question. There was not a single song we did not like, and everyone had so much fun dancing and singing along. His attention to reading the crowd at times during dinner and when everyone was done eating with regards to song selection were spot on, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He was also prepared prior to the event start, which was so calming and reassuring to the event coordinators. We will definitely be contacting him for future events.
Meagan at Hype Girl is AMAZING!!! She’s not just talented but she’s a super kind human. I had her join me up at the Mt Washington resort to capture me and my team doing our thing at a really big wedding we were designing and running, and she truly is your Hype Girl. She made me feel important and attended to and she was so kind to my clients as well. I cannot recommend her enough.

DJ Kelly Elliott was phenomenal! We received so many compliments during the reception about how she was doing with her music selection! She knew how to get as many people up and dancing as possible. Meagan did a great job being our wedding content creator! She sent us all of our raw and edited files within a few days of the wedding and we will be able to cherish the memories she captured forever! She met with us multiple times before our day and made sure we were all on the same page of what was most important to us, she arrived on time, communicated with our photographer, and she was so fun! Joey made our wedding fun and exciting for everyone. His energy, enthusiasm, and genuine love for being a DJ made our wedding phenomenal. Our friends and family all commented on what a great DJ we had found. Joey is not just a DJ – he makes you feel like you have known him your entire life. He is just as excited as you are to be getting married. He really made us feel special and he rocked the wedding. Never once did he play a song people didn’t wasn’t to sing or dance to. His “Love Story” touched everyone’s heart and was one of our favorite parts of the wedding. One of the perks of using our wedding venue (Granite Rose in Hampstead, NH) is they include a DJ through Main Event Entertainment in our chosen package. We were given a worksheet to fill out with our music preferences, and Main Event Entertainment paired us with the perfect DJ, DJ Lloyd Mnaphi. The week before the wedding, we had an opportunity to speak with Lloyd. During this conversation we were able to go over all the details of the day and voice any opinions or concerns. Lloyd was very knowledgeable, easy going and funny and by the end of the phone call, we looked forward to having him be our DJ on the big day. Then the big day came and Lloyd did an incredible job! He made sure to check in with us and made sure everyone partied the night away. Once the event was over, we had numerous people approach us asking if we knew Lloyd before the wedding or if he was recommended. Many people were shocked to hear that he was assigned to us by Main Event Entertainment after only reviewing our worksheet. We would highly recommend Main Event Entertainment and Lloyd to people looking for a DJ or getting married at Granite Rose!
DJ Jay Malette was fantastic to work with! He was very communicative and flexible throughout the entire process of planning and onsite…he was reliable, professional and fun and mixed up the best playlist of our favorites (also taking requests from our guests) throughout the night! I wish we could do it all over again!

Kelly Elliott is absolutely incredible. First, as a DJ, she did a great job of reading the crowd and playing music that got people up to dance and have fun (but also slowed it down during dinner). But, more importantly, she is an awesome MC. From announcing the wedding party to keeping the flow of the reception schedule, the entire reception felt seamless, professional, and fun. She also read our “cues” and was able to go with the flow according to what we wanted. I don’t think we were high maintenance, but we demanded a lot from her, and she smiled, cooperated, and made everyone feel comfortable. When you are choosing a DJ, please remember that a DJ does more than play music – she is also in charge of the flow, the ambiance, and character of your reception. Choose wisely.
Lake Opechee Inn
JAY WAS AMAZING! Before our event he was very easy to communicate with through email. Always responded quickly and was helpful. He fully understood our personalities and the atmosphere we were going for. He was accommodating so much so that he watched a TV show we asked him to watch so he would understand how we wanted to be introduced. He was funny, professional, prompt, kept the flow moving and was not corny (my biggest fear with DJs). I am sad our wedding is over because now it means we won’t have Jay reaching out to us- honestly he became one of our friends through this because he was that awesome! Everyone should use Jay!
Indian Ridge Country Club
DJ was excellent! The sound during the ceremony was perfect! Not too loud, and not too soft. We had wanted an organist, but Adam made sure we did not miss having one. This continued through the whole night. The dance floor was packed from the first song to the last. No one wanted to leave. We’d recommend him to anyone – and already have! Thank you Adam for making our wedding such a success!!!

Kelly did an amazing job with all of our music choices throughout the ceremony, entrances, dinner, and reception. It’s so hard to keep on top of things during your own wedding, especially the timeline without looking at a clock, and Kelly made sure everything went according to plan. She was on the ball with what was happening next, even when we were overwhelmed with the chaos of the day. She was right there with the flowers we were presenting to my aunt for her birthday and brought them over to us for a quick transition to keep things moving. And she did an awesome job of going with the flow (but also checking in with us) when the timeline of the day didn’t quite go according to plan and rolling with plan B. Everyone had fun and we can’t thank her enough.
DJ Kibar was incredible! We had a very short time to plan our wedding and he worked with us and even made suggestions for venues. He was always flexible with meeting times and we had open communication. Everyone had an absolute blast and we rocked the dance floor! I need a vow renewal just so I can have DJ Kibar again.

My husband and I hired Tom Darling for our wedding on 9/30/23. Tom was such a pleasure to work with, incredibly kind and super fun! He did such an amazing job keeping the party going and reading the crowd. He was also super accommodating and did everything he could to make our day special! We loved his work and would absolutely recommend him to other brides.
We had a great experience having Joey as our DJ and he did everything we expected. His price was what he said it would be. His sense of humor attracted us and we love that he’s down-to-earth. Also, we kept in mind the importance of him being the owner of Main Event and his past experience. I would say the best part of having Joey as our DJ would be his energetic attitude. We would highly recommend him, in fact we already have friends who are interested!
At our reception, he did a light show, bubbles, props and line dances. We continue to hear comments from friends and family that our reception was so much fun and that they had such a good time. It feels so good to hear that. We know Joey was such a huge part of making our wedding day memorable for not only us but for our guests.

Our DJ Tom Darling was so amazing! From going out in the heat and humidity making sure our sound checks were perfect for the ceremony to understanding our facial cues when my husband and I didn’t realize how long 40 seconds was for our first dance! Tom was fantastic. There’s always a bit of concern when a Dj says they’ll read the room to interpret what type of music to play and make sure the night flows, but with Tom he didn’t read the room, he wrote it! If you book Tom, and I highly suggest you do, make sure he gets up and dances to all the cheesy songs with you. One of the nights shining moments!
