We got married 8.12.23 at granite Rose, our DJ, Lloyd Mnaphi, was amazing!! He fulfilled all of our requests, we had my sister in-law surprise officiant the ceremony and He did so good helping us keep that a secret until it was time. JAY WAS AMAZING! Before our event he was very easy to communicate with through email. Always responded quickly and was helpful. He fully understood our personalities and the atmosphere we were going for. He was accommodating so much so that he watched a TV show we asked him to watch so he would understand how we wanted to be introduced. He was funny, professional, prompt, kept the flow moving and was not corny (my biggest fear with DJs). I am sad our wedding is over because now it means we won’t have Jay reaching out to us- honestly he became one of our friends through this because he was that awesome! Everyone should use Jay!

Our DJ Brien Lafferty was AMAZING! He had the best energy and played such a great variety of music as we had people of all different ages at our wedding. People are still talking about how great the music at our wedding was.! He listened to all of our requests for the songs we wanted in our ceremony introductions, and all of our important dances. I am not sure I can adequately explain how thrilled not only my husband and I were, but since the event I’ve had numerous phone calls full of praise him. Jay was the DJ for my combined 70th birthday and retirement party and we had asked for fairly specific artists, as the crowd was a bit older than what you would typically find at a wedding. However, the way Jay spun those tunes and the dancing on the floor, you would have thought you were in fact at a wedding! What a party! What a FABULOUS time! Over and above that, Jay is personable, knowledgeable and very professional and fun! I know we would hire him again in a heartbeat and I’m pretty sure some of the guests have his contact information. You won’t be disappointed going with Jay!

Where do I even begin… Kevin Sawler made our wedding perfect! He was the master of our night and truly made our vision of dancing under the stars come true. Kevin took the time to meet with us over zoom (COVID Style) and answered all our questions and made sure he had all the information he needed to make our day perfect. Dan Pelletier was such a great DJ for our graduate school formal. He was sure to take our song requests without question. One of the perks of using our wedding venue (Granite Rose in Hampstead, NH) is they include a DJ through Main Event Entertainment in our chosen package. We were given a worksheet to fill out with our music preferences, and Main Event Entertainment paired us with the perfect DJ, DJ Lloyd Mnaphi. The week before the wedding, we had an opportunity to speak with Lloyd. During this conversation we were able to go over all the details of the day and voice any opinions or concerns. Lloyd was very knowledgeable, easy going and funny and by the end of the phone call, we looked forward to having him be our DJ on the big day. Then the big day came and Lloyd did an incredible job! He made sure to check in with us and made sure everyone partied the night away. Once the event was over, we had numerous people approach us asking if we knew Lloyd before the wedding or if he was recommended. Many people were shocked to hear that he was assigned to us by Main Event Entertainment after only reviewing our worksheet. We would highly recommend Main Event Entertainment and Lloyd to people looking for a DJ or getting married at Granite Rose!

DJ Kevin Maldonado was fantastic at our holiday party for children & adults with special needs. We originally asked him to keep the sound low due to sensory concerns, but it turned out our folks loved the louder dance music! Kevin had everyone up on the floor, dancing until the end! He was very professional and considerate, and played the Happy Birthday song for one of our kids. He also accommodated requests and probably played “YMCA” at least twice. Kevin M. will be our choice to DJ for our next party. 🙂
