One of the perks of using our wedding venue (Granite Rose in Hampstead, NH) is they include a DJ through Main Event Entertainment in our chosen package. We were given a worksheet to fill out with our music preferences, and Main Event Entertainment paired us with the perfect DJ, DJ Lloyd Mnaphi. The week before the wedding, we had an opportunity to speak with Lloyd. During this conversation we were able to go over all the details of the day and voice any opinions or concerns. Lloyd was very knowledgeable, easy going and funny and by the end of the phone call, we looked forward to having him be our DJ on the big day. Then the big day came and Lloyd did an incredible job! He made sure to check in with us and made sure everyone partied the night away. Once the event was over, we had numerous people approach us asking if we knew Lloyd before the wedding or if he was recommended. Many people were shocked to hear that he was assigned to us by Main Event Entertainment after only reviewing our worksheet. We would highly recommend Main Event Entertainment and Lloyd to people looking for a DJ or getting married at Granite Rose!
We used Adam as our DJ and couldn’t have be happier. People were dancing all night. He knew the perfect music to play. He came up to us multiple times during the night to keep us informed on the order of things and what we needed to start thinking about. He was super nice and very accessible. We were thrilled with the outcome of both our ceremony and reception music!

The event was very well put together! Having the DJs come to us made it so comfortable and all of the DJs we spoke with were great. The Photobooth was amazing and everyone we encountered as soon as we entered the building was incredible. Truly a 10/10 experience that felt so personal and professional.

Meagan at Hype Girl is AMAZING!!! She’s not just talented but she’s a super kind human. I had her join me up at the Mt Washington resort to capture me and my team doing our thing at a really big wedding we were designing and running, and she truly is your Hype Girl. Everyone at Main Event Entertainment was kind, personable, and resourceful! The showcase is such a great way to get to know DJ(s) prior to choosing a company and/or DJ for your wedding. All of our questions were answered, and we never felt pressured to go with any of the DJs we met or make any decisions that night. I think every company should host events like this. By attending, it alleviate any stress we had about hiring our DJ for our wedding and learned a ton of information about a wonderful company, who truly enjoys what they do and how well they treat the couples they work with! I would absolutely recommend Main Event Entertainment as well as recommend attending on of their showcases!

Meagan was absolutely phenomenal to work with. She quickly followed up with us to set up a meeting and get expectations and plans and had our videos and photos back to us before I was even back to my house from our wedding weekend! She did such a good job capturing everyone’s reactions and giving us the most heartwarming video! Highly recommend!
We booked DJ Kibar for our 12.21.23 wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made! Kibar was incredibly attentive and helpful from start to finish, and his professionalism yet fun attitude made it very easy to work with him. He kept the party going and did an amazing job. We had guests who we never thought we’d see dance on the dance floor, if that tells you anything!
Meghan was absolutely wonderful! It was such a pleasure having her DJ our wedding! We will recommend her to our friends who are getting married.

DJ was excellent! The sound during the ceremony was perfect! Not too loud, and not too soft. We had wanted an organist, but Adam made sure we did not miss having one. This continued through the whole night. The dance floor was packed from the first song to the last. No one wanted to leave. We’d recommend him to anyone – and already have! Our wedding was on 9/21/23, and our reception was dj’d by Lloyd Mnaphi. From music on the beach ceremony to meal and dance music, Lloyd had it completely covered. He kept the flow of our event seamless and the dance floor hopping. Was open to requests and had a great rapport with our guests. Everyone was saying, that they enjoyed his energy.
Main Event was a fantastic vendor to work with, great communication, organized, professional. Our DJ, Matt Perez, killed it! Our conversations prior to the wedding were great and he was very helpful in helping us pick all the right music, including some suggestions for the ceremony/special events. The dance floor was full all night, all ages guests! Matt also took great care of other details above and beyond his role. His equipment was professional and looked great in the space. Very happy and would recommend if you are looking for an fun event! Everyone had a great time and multiple people said Best DJ ever!

The Mile Away
DJ Kibar was absolutely top notch. He kept up with us in terms of contact and information from booking up until our wedding date. He would check in with us periodically and had meetings in order to make sure we had all of our main musical selections chosen and organized. He ensured our wedding ran smoothly and worked great with our coordinator. He played piano for our ceremony and it was fantastic. Our guests loved his transitions and kept complimenting his DJ’ing style and he took care in what music was played for our wedding based on our tastes. We felt very confident during the whole process and happy with our choice in DJ. He takes pride in his work and it really shows.
DJ Kibar was incredible! We had a very short time to plan our wedding and he worked with us and even made suggestions for venues. He was always flexible with meeting times and we had open communication. Everyone had an absolute blast and we rocked the dance floor! I need a vow renewal just so I can have DJ Kibar again.

DJ Kevin Maldonado was fantastic at our holiday party for children & adults with special needs. We originally asked him to keep the sound low due to sensory concerns, but it turned out our folks loved the louder dance music! Kevin had everyone up on the floor, dancing until the end! He was very professional and considerate, and played the Happy Birthday song for one of our kids. He also accommodated requests and probably played “YMCA” at least twice. Kevin M. will be our choice to DJ for our next party. 🙂
My wife and I got married on October 14, 2023. DJ Dan Pelletier was a fantastic wedding DJ! He made the dancing at our wedding night extremely fun and memorable for everyone. My wife and I had a fantastic time on the dancefloor thanks to DJ Dan’s musical choices and our guests are still reminiscing on what a fun time the dancing was. He let us have some “must-have requests” and played some guests requests. Dan also did a great job keeping our timeline on track, directing guests, and general wedding logistics. DJ Dan is thoughtful, professional, and an all-around terrific DJ. Highly recommend!

I am not sure I can adequately explain how thrilled not only my husband and I were, but since the event I’ve had numerous phone calls full of praise him. Jay was the DJ for my combined 70th birthday and retirement party and we had asked for fairly specific artists, as the crowd was a bit older than what you would typically find at a wedding. However, the way Jay spun those tunes and the dancing on the floor, you would have thought you were in fact at a wedding! What a party! What a FABULOUS time! Over and above that, Jay is personable, knowledgeable and very professional and fun! I know we would hire him again in a heartbeat and I’m pretty sure some of the guests have his contact information. You won’t be disappointed going with Jay!

The whole concept of meeting the DJs available on your date and hearing their story was great and so helpful in making a connection and finding someone you jive with. Everyone we met with was super friendly and knowledgeable. The dj we had in mind wasn’t at the night we went to but meeting everyone helped solidify us wanting to work with Main Event Entertainment for our wedding.

My husband and I hired Tom Darling for our wedding on 9/30/23. Tom was such a pleasure to work with, incredibly kind and super fun! He did such an amazing job keeping the party going and reading the crowd. He was also super accommodating and did everything he could to make our day special! We loved his work and would absolutely recommend him to other brides.
We weren’t really sure what to expect going in but I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. The team at Main Event Entertainment greeted us right away. They were friendly and welcoming. They took the time to ask about our needs and go over their offerings with us. My fiance and I had joked about sampling DJ’s in order to find one for our wedding. In reality, this was the perfect opportunity to do just that. We really got a feel for each DJ and what sort of energy and experience they brought to the table. I’d recommend this experience to any couples planning their wedding and looking for the right DJ.

We cannot RAVE enough about DJ Rob and all that this company did to make our wedding absolutely perfect. He is such an incredible human and did the best job at keeping everyone excited and dancing the entire night!
We met Dan in person ahead of our event, and loved getting to know him. He is super nice and easy to talk to, he’s a dedicated musician, and he has tons of experience both DJing and performing. As musicians ourselves, we felt immediate trust that his musical sensibilities would make him an EXCELLENT DJ for us. And we were right!! Dan kept the party going all night and seamlessly moved through the music we wanted to hear – taking our playlists and blending them with music he knew would fit the vibe. Couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding – it was perfect. Thank you, Dan!

JAY WAS AMAZING! Before our event he was very easy to communicate with through email. Always responded quickly and was helpful. He fully understood our personalities and the atmosphere we were going for. He was accommodating so much so that he watched a TV show we asked him to watch so he would understand how we wanted to be introduced. He was funny, professional, prompt, kept the flow moving and was not corny (my biggest fear with DJs). I am sad our wedding is over because now it means we won’t have Jay reaching out to us- honestly he became one of our friends through this because he was that awesome! Everyone should use Jay!

Kevin Maldonado was our DJ. And honestly he was phenomenal. He brought the energy all day. Was great at making all the announcements that was needed. The playist he made for us was great. 10 for 10 will be raving about him for years to come. Our guest have even asked about him and have all had great things to say. So needless to say we loved Kevin and sincerely hope that anyone who sees this chooses him for your special day. He definitely made our day memorable.
DJ Dan was INCREDIBLE– from helping to plan our music, to understanding our wedding timeline, communication and day-of he was so great, especially with making sure the sound at the ceremony was perfect, (we had no electricity there either) and the dance floor was NEVER empty, it was perfect.

I attended a wedding this past weekend that Joey Dion was DJing. What a great time!! He was so creative and so much fun!! At no point was he on “auto-pilot”. At one point, in one of the speeches, someone mentioned listening to Bone Thugs N Harmony when they were young, and as they finished the speech, he started playing “Crossroads”. Such a riot!! Everyone got a kick out of it!! He was so involve and kept the dance floor full all night. I’ve never been to an event where a DJ could read a crowd so well. Always full of surprises and had us laughing all night. Thanks for a great time Joey!!

Our DJ Rick Lee was absolutely amazing and NAILED the energy of the room. He brought the party and kept it going all night long. He was very respectful of our “do not play” list & made sure all age groups were satisfied with the song choices in order to get everyone on the dance floor! Our favorite part of the entire wedding was the bridal party entrance and the dancing at the end of the night. He was so patient and supportive of any/all ideas our bridal parties had for their entrance & like I previously said, he got the party started right away and he kept the dance floor alive all night long. He was even able to convert songs that he did not have in order to make our day exactly what we wanted. He even came up with his own ideas to give away our center pieces (so it was one less thing I had to think about!! haha) I cannot say enough good things about DJ Rick Lee. 10/10 would recommend.

We hired Jay from Main Event for our wedding on 9/30/23. He was AMAZING! He was flexible when we requested to change our timeline DURING the wedding. DJ Matt is the BEST! Not only was communication so easy and thorough, he has a great personality and is so talented. I’m a wedding photographer, so I see a lot of weddings and had no doubt in my mind that I wanted Main Event to be part of my day. Matt had the dance floor packed, was so kind to my family/guests, and has a great set up that suits every space. 10/10 would recommend – Main Event has it down!

Joey was amazing!! We are still getting compliments on how great the DJ was! He played a great variety of music and he knew what music got the crowd going! Everyone including my 80 year old grandparents were up on the dance floor with their hands up! He went above and beyond and made our wedding day one we will never forget. He was involving the crowd, played the music we asked for and I can honestly say we do not have one bad thing to say! I would hire him again and again and again. I have recommended him to all my friends who are getting married. The BEST DJ, I promise you that!

Our DJ Tom Darling was so amazing! From going out in the heat and humidity making sure our sound checks were perfect for the ceremony to understanding our facial cues when my husband and I didn’t realize how long 40 seconds was for our first dance! Tom was fantastic. There’s always a bit of concern when a Dj says they’ll read the room to interpret what type of music to play and make sure the night flows, but with Tom he didn’t read the room, he wrote it! If you book Tom, and I highly suggest you do, make sure he gets up and dances to all the cheesy songs with you. One of the nights shining moments!
Meet the DJs Night was AWESOME! It was great to chat with some of the DJs and get to know them a little more rather than making a blind decision and risking not having a connection with whoever we chose. Everyone was so kind and personable, and it made us feel so comfortable going with Main Event. Everyone was so helpful, and didn’t put pressure on us to choose someone that night. Kevin Sawler was the DJ we picked for our wedding. We knew he would be a good fit for us as soon as we saw his demo video. After meeting Kevin in person, we loved his personality and expected the wedding to be a success. It was! He played everything I had requested in advance and also filtered out some not so good requests throughout the night. We would highly recommend Kevin and Main Event to anyone that asked. Thanks again for a great night!
