I attended a wedding this past weekend that Joey Dion was DJing. What a great time!! He was so creative and so much fun!! At no point was he on “auto-pilot”. At one point, in one of the speeches, someone mentioned listening to Bone Thugs N Harmony when they were young, and as they finished the speech, he started playing “Crossroads”. Such a riot!! Everyone got a kick out of it!! He was so involve and kept the dance floor full all night. I’ve never been to an event where a DJ could read a crowd so well. Always full of surprises and had us laughing all night. Thanks for a great time Joey!!

Adam exceeded our expectations and made our wedding fantastic! He kept people on their feet all night long. People are still talking about him. We loved how he took control and had the evening running smoothly. We loved the scavenger hunt, great variety of music, his personality, props and wedding CD he gave us that we listen to always and remind us of our day. If we ever have another event Adam will be our DJ!! You guys are all professional and very reasonably priced. Can’t say enough about Adam! What an amazing DJ.

DJ Lloyd was amazing! He really kept the party going for us, we had a small wedding and he really kept it so bumping! From the first phone call to the last dance of the night he was amazing! He also played all my Taylor songs🤍🤍!

Kibar was a huge hit at our wedding! We are ready knew what he was capable of and he did not disappoint! Our guests absolutely loved him! (As did we) the dance floor was full the whole night and he brought an energy to the place that kept the party going nonstop. He also brought us a bunch of different ideas that we hadn’t even thought of to help make our day unique and entertaining .

Our DJ Brien Lafferty was AMAZING! He had the best energy and played such a great variety of music as we had people of all different ages at our wedding. People are still talking about how great the music at our wedding was.! He listened to all of our requests for the songs we wanted in our ceremony introductions, and all of our important dances. His personality completely fit with our wedding guest and really made the entire night a blast.! We couldn’t have asked for a better fit for what we envisioned for our wedding night and highly recommend him for any event you are planning. We will definitely be booking him again for future events we will be hosting!

I am not sure I can adequately explain how thrilled not only my husband and I were, but since the event I’ve had numerous phone calls full of praise him. Jay was the DJ for my combined 70th birthday and retirement party and we had asked for fairly specific artists, as the crowd was a bit older than what you would typically find at a wedding. However, the way Jay spun those tunes and the dancing on the floor, you would have thought you were in fact at a wedding! What a party! What a FABULOUS time! Over and above that, Jay is personable, knowledgeable and very professional and fun! I know we would hire him again in a heartbeat and I’m pretty sure some of the guests have his contact information. You won’t be disappointed going with Jay!
My husband and I hired Tom Darling for our wedding on 9/30/23. Tom was such a pleasure to work with, incredibly kind and super fun! He did such an amazing job keeping the party going and reading the crowd. He was also super accommodating and did everything he could to make our day special! We loved his work and would absolutely recommend him to other brides.
Joey was AMAZING! We could not have asked for or had a better experience. Extremely accommodating, very detailed, energetic, and have not heard anything but positive feedback about our choice in DJ. DJ Kelly Elliott was phenomenal! We received so many compliments during the reception about how she was doing with her music selection! She knew how to get as many people up and dancing as possible. Kelly walked us through every step of the planning process and made sure we didn’t forget any songs that we needed to choose for any part of our big day. She was respectable, polite and very personable. Highly recommended.

Tom Darling was very professional and friendly to work with! Our wedding day was the most amazing experience, and having Tom there eased a lot of stress and unknowns as he was great at keeping things flowing. As the bride I had communication with him all night and he just smiled at me and made sure it went well. From the first song we had a dance floor filled with people and each song played was amazing. He was the perfect entertainer and DJ for our special day. We cannot thank Tom enough and think of him very highly!
We hired Jay from Main Event for our wedding on 9/30/23. He was AMAZING! He was flexible when we requested to change our timeline DURING the wedding. DJ was excellent! The sound during the ceremony was perfect! Not too loud, and not too soft. We had wanted an organist, but Adam made sure we did not miss having one. This continued through the whole night. The dance floor was packed from the first song to the last. No one wanted to leave. We’d recommend him to anyone – and already have! Thank you Adam for making our wedding such a success!!!

Adam was our DJ for our 02/10/24 wedding. He was the central piece of our party! As we were planning the wedding, he took the time to get to know us via a zoom call to discuss the details. He helped us make music decisions in places we were really stuck, and helped bring our dreams to reality. He kept everyone engaged and our dance floor was packed all night! The whole concept of meeting the DJs available on your date and hearing their story was great and so helpful in making a connection and finding someone you jive with. Everyone we met with was super friendly and knowledgeable. The dj we had in mind wasn’t at the night we went to but meeting everyone helped solidify us wanting to work with Main Event Entertainment for our wedding.

I got married on 6/23/12 and Joey Dion was our DJ. He was incredible!!! Joey did a wonderful job with the introductions and definitely got everyone in the mood to party! When Joey opened up the dance floor, it was immediately full and stayed that way the entire night! He knew exactly what music to play to keep guests on the dance floor and that was exactly what we wanted 
Joey also brought along bubbles and blow up air guitars which everyone LOVED! He is a very sweet guy, and kept checking in with me to see if I wanted any specific songs, or if I was ok with songs that people requested. I would highly recommend Joey to anyone! We had Tom Darling as our DJ and he was awesome! Super nice and always seemed to know what song to play. His plethora of music genres kept the night going to the very end (literally.. our venue basically had to kick us out we wouldn’t stop dancing when our time was up).

DJ Kibar was incredible! We had a very short time to plan our wedding and he worked with us and even made suggestions for venues. He was always flexible with meeting times and we had open communication. Everyone had an absolute blast and we rocked the dance floor! I need a vow renewal just so I can have DJ Kibar again.

JAY WAS AMAZING! Before our event he was very easy to communicate with through email. Always responded quickly and was helpful. He fully understood our personalities and the atmosphere we were going for. He was accommodating so much so that he watched a TV show we asked him to watch so he would understand how we wanted to be introduced. He was funny, professional, prompt, kept the flow moving and was not corny (my biggest fear with DJs). I am sad our wedding is over because now it means we won’t have Jay reaching out to us- honestly he became one of our friends through this because he was that awesome! Everyone should use Jay!

We weren’t really sure what to expect going in but I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. The team at Main Event Entertainment greeted us right away. They were friendly and welcoming. They took the time to ask about our needs and go over their offerings with us. My fiance and I had joked about sampling DJ’s in order to find one for our wedding. In reality, this was the perfect opportunity to do just that. We really got a feel for each DJ and what sort of energy and experience they brought to the table. I’d recommend this experience to any couples planning their wedding and looking for the right DJ.

Jay was awesome. We had a rather small wedding crowd with shy guests. He was able to get them up and dancing, and kept everyone entertained. Even when dancing slowed down, everyone loved the music being played and there were smiles all around! He was all around exactly what our party needed!

The service was incredible. Kevin was so wonderful. He really helped us with the flow of the evening. He really took charge but always stopped to ask us questions so we got what we wanted. PhotoBooth was amazing. My husband and I have looked through the scrapbook 100 times already. Really kept the guest hyped up and they kept going in. Making for some hilarious photos 🙂 Quality, phenomenal. They used my wedding colors inside and I just love it. I also loved that everyone gets a copy of the strip they take. Really made the guests happy 🙂

We had a great experience with Kelly Elliott as our DJ, she was personable, easy to work with and most importantly of all she played great music. She was a great emcee and did a great job of getting people dancing! She customized our wedding party entrance and guided us in creating our timeline. Our day was effortless and flowed nicely. The Governors Inn
One of the perks of using our wedding venue (Granite Rose in Hampstead, NH) is they include a DJ through Main Event Entertainment in our chosen package. We were given a worksheet to fill out with our music preferences, and Main Event Entertainment paired us with the perfect DJ, DJ Lloyd Mnaphi. The week before the wedding, we had an opportunity to speak with Lloyd. During this conversation we were able to go over all the details of the day and voice any opinions or concerns. Lloyd was very knowledgeable, easy going and funny and by the end of the phone call, we looked forward to having him be our DJ on the big day. Then the big day came and Lloyd did an incredible job! He made sure to check in with us and made sure everyone partied the night away. Once the event was over, we had numerous people approach us asking if we knew Lloyd before the wedding or if he was recommended. Many people were shocked to hear that he was assigned to us by Main Event Entertainment after only reviewing our worksheet. We would highly recommend Main Event Entertainment and Lloyd to people looking for a DJ or getting married at Granite Rose!
Kibar was amazing to work with! He not only incorporated all of the requested songs throughout the night, but he made it so that everyone wanted to dance the night away. We enjoyed everything he did and would recommend him to anyone! Thanks Kibar for helping to make our day so wonderful!

Adam was absolutely PERFECT! He would come over to make sure everything was going well frequently and never missed a beat! I especially loved that the music choice he had for our reception was everything and more than I asked for! I could NOT stop dancing! I loved every song he played! At the end of the night I was surprised with a specialized CD for us of our special songs! If we ever have another event I will want him at it!

My husband and I got married on 12.18.23 and Hayden was our DJ! When I tell you this man is AMAZING at his job I mean it! He had some of the smoothest transitions, I have ever heard when it comes to music! We are predominantly metal and rock enthusiast, and Hayden picked out songs that were so in line for what we were wanting. To toss in some Christmas music as well was perfect, it got everyone up and jumping! There were so many compliments that came in from our families, saying that Hayden was one of the best DJs they’ve ever heard. He helped make our special day even better, and my husband and I are forever grateful that we got paired with him! Hayden, thank you so much for making our wedding amazing!
I wanted to send a message to say how much we loved Adam Blackstock. My daughter and her new husband had an awesome time at their reception. Adam made the wedding serive and reception flow flawlessly. We all especially loved when he gave the kids blow up guitars and played Spongebob Squarepants. Adam was very attentive to my daughter and son in law to how they wanted the evening to progress. My wide and I couldn’t be happier. We would recommend Adam for any event.

Hayden was our DJ for our wedding on 1.21.24. He was spectacular throughout the entire day and every meeting leading up to the wedding. We definitely didn’t make it easy for him during our meetings but he worked through it with us and was extremely courteous & professional each time. DJ Kevin Maldonado was fantastic at our holiday party for children & adults with special needs. We originally asked him to keep the sound low due to sensory concerns, but it turned out our folks loved the louder dance music! Kevin had everyone up on the floor, dancing until the end! He was very professional and considerate, and played the Happy Birthday song for one of our kids. He also accommodated requests and probably played “YMCA” at least twice. Kevin M. will be our choice to DJ for our next party. 🙂
