Lloyd was great! He really cared about making the day perfect!
Kelly Elliott is absolutely incredible. First, as a DJ, she did a great job of reading the crowd and playing music that got people up to dance and have fun (but also slowed it down during dinner). But, more importantly, she is an awesome MC. From announcing the wedding party to keeping the flow of the reception schedule, the entire reception felt seamless, professional, and fun. She also read our “cues” and was able to go with the flow according to what we wanted. I don’t think we were high maintenance, but we demanded a lot from her, and she smiled, cooperated, and made everyone feel comfortable. When you are choosing a DJ, please remember that a DJ does more than play music – she is also in charge of the flow, the ambiance, and character of your reception. Choose wisely.

Kevin Maldonado was our DJ. And honestly he was phenomenal. He brought the energy all day. Was great at making all the announcements that was needed. The playist he made for us was great. 10 for 10 will be raving about him for years to come. Our guest have even asked about him and have all had great things to say. So needless to say we loved Kevin and sincerely hope that anyone who sees this chooses him for your special day. He definitely made our day memorable.
Matt was amazing! Everyone one of our guests had nothing but nice things to say! He had everyone on the dance floor all night! He played music for the whole crowd. He has a great personality and was a pleasure to work with. Even prior to the wedding he was so helpful taking away any stress and helped to make the night run smoothly. I think everyone should use him!

I could not have been any happier with my experience working with Main Event. Everyone was so kind and professional. DJ Kibar was incredible from the day we booked him. Up until the day of the wedding he was extremely communicative and flexible. He made planning so easy and fun. The day of the wedding he was so upbeat and kept everyone dancing all night. He truly made our wedding a night to remember! I can not recommend Kibar and Main Event enough!
The PhotoBooth attendants were so great. They were polite and a lot of fun. They did a great job with the scrapbook and my wife loves the look and presentation of it. The booth was such a highlight. Especially when my sister got my father to wear a dreadlocks wig for one.

We had a great time getting to know Joey and how the process works at Main Event Entertainment. We appreciated getting walked through the process so we know what to expect with future appointments. Everyone was very friendly and we enjoyed the relaxed environment where we didn’t feel rushed or like we had to decide anything on the spot.

DJ Rick Lee was incredible!! We knew from the time we first hopped on the phone with him that DJ Rick would bring the energy and expertise needed to make our wedding amazing. Thank you very much! We had an excellent time and Dan was terrific. Many of our guests commented positively on the music after the wedding, telling us it was hard to stay off the dance floor. Event with a smaller wedding than we originally intended, we felt like the dance floor was always active. The atmosphere was great throughout the entire event. The lead up to the event was terrific, Dan did a great job communicating with us and taking notes of our preferences. We felt at ease going into our wedding having no doubt that we were going to get what we wanted and asked for. We would definitely recommend Dan to our friends and family in the future. Meagan was absolutely phenomenal to work with. She quickly followed up with us to set up a meeting and get expectations and plans and had our videos and photos back to us before I was even back to my house from our wedding weekend! She did such a good job capturing everyone’s reactions and giving us the most heartwarming video! Highly recommend!

Church Landing
Dan Pelletier was such a great DJ for our graduate school formal. He was sure to take our song requests without question. There was not a single song we did not like, and everyone had so much fun dancing and singing along. His attention to reading the crowd at times during dinner and when everyone was done eating with regards to song selection were spot on, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He was also prepared prior to the event start, which was so calming and reassuring to the event coordinators. We will definitely be contacting him for future events.
Rob was our DJ and he was fantastic! His music got everyone up and dancing and kept the party going all night!.
Everyone at Main Event Entertainment was kind, personable, and resourceful! The showcase is such a great way to get to know DJ(s) prior to choosing a company and/or DJ for your wedding. All of our questions were answered, and we never felt pressured to go with any of the DJs we met or make any decisions that night. I think every company should host events like this. By attending, it alleviate any stress we had about hiring our DJ for our wedding and learned a ton of information about a wonderful company, who truly enjoys what they do and how well they treat the couples they work with! I would absolutely recommend Main Event Entertainment as well as recommend attending on of their showcases!

Jay was awesome! From meeting with him the first time to the wedding day, he was easy to work with him, organized, and kept the party going! We appreciate all of his work to make our wedding a great time.
We booked DJ Kibar for our 12.21.23 wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made! Kibar was incredibly attentive and helpful from start to finish, and his professionalism yet fun attitude made it very easy to work with him. He kept the party going and did an amazing job. We had guests who we never thought we’d see dance on the dance floor, if that tells you anything!
DJ Kevin Maldonado was fantastic at our holiday party for children & adults with special needs. We originally asked him to keep the sound low due to sensory concerns, but it turned out our folks loved the louder dance music! Kevin had everyone up on the floor, dancing until the end! He was very professional and considerate, and played the Happy Birthday song for one of our kids. He also accommodated requests and probably played “YMCA” at least twice. Kevin M. will be our choice to DJ for our next party. 🙂
My now husband and I booked Lloyd WAY ahead of time of our wedding after hearing such great things about him – we were SO glad we did!!! Lloyd truly made our ENTIRE day being such big music fans! He took the time to go through all of the details, songs, timing, name pronunciation, etc. you name it! He is so friendly and so fun! He kept our guests on the dance floor all night and played ALL of our favorite music! He added so much of his own personality to the music and little moments throughout the day, we loved it! He even got out on the dance floor with us too! We got so many compliments on Lloyd being the best DJ our guests had ever experienced at a wedding. We truly could not have imagined our day without him. We would 10000% recommend Main Event and DJ Lloyd!
DJ Matt is the BEST! Not only was communication so easy and thorough, he has a great personality and is so talented. I’m a wedding photographer, so I see a lot of weddings and had no doubt in my mind that I wanted Main Event to be part of my day. Matt had the dance floor packed, was so kind to my family/guests, and has a great set up that suits every space. 10/10 would recommend – Main Event has it down!

You can stop your search right here with Jay Malette! I am not sure I can adequately explain how thrilled not only my husband and I were, but since the event I’ve had numerous phone calls full of praise him. Jay was the DJ for my combined 70th birthday and retirement party and we had asked for fairly specific artists, as the crowd was a bit older than what you would typically find at a wedding. However, the way Jay spun those tunes and the dancing on the floor, you would have thought you were in fact at a wedding! What a party! What a FABULOUS time! Over and above that, Jay is personable, knowledgeable and very professional and fun! I know we would hire him again in a heartbeat and I’m pretty sure some of the guests have his contact information. You won’t be disappointed going with Jay!
My husband and I could not be more happy that we were matched with Tom Darling for our wedding. From the moment we met Tom prior to the wedding we knew he was going to be an incredible dj. He was easy to talk to, had multiple options for songs to play for different events throughout the night and went out of his way to make sure the songs we wanted played he was able to find. Our guest raved about the music throughout the wedding night and commented on the amazing energy Tom brought. In addition, we were lucky to have Justin Mellan who assisted Tom. He was equally as energetic! Going through the pictures after have made us laugh for day! Being so busy you don’t always get to enjoy the little silly moments and having this album to share and look back on has been amazing!!! Kevin Sawler was the DJ we picked for our wedding. We knew he would be a good fit for us as soon as we saw his demo video. After meeting Kevin in person, we loved his personality and expected the wedding to be a success. It was! He played everything I had requested in advance and also filtered out some not so good requests throughout the night. We would highly recommend Kevin and Main Event to anyone that asked. I wanted to send a message to say how much we loved Adam Blackstock. My daughter and her new husband had an awesome time at their reception. Adam made the wedding serive and reception flow flawlessly. We all especially loved when he gave the kids blow up guitars and played Spongebob Squarepants. Adam was very attentive to my daughter and son in law to how they wanted the evening to progress. My wide and I couldn’t be happier. We would recommend Adam for any event.

Joey made our wedding fun and exciting for everyone. His energy, enthusiasm, and genuine love for being a DJ made our wedding phenomenal. Our friends and family all commented on what a great DJ we had found. Joey is not just a DJ – he makes you feel like you have known him your entire life. He is just as excited as you are to be getting married. He really made us feel special and he rocked the wedding. Never once did he play a song people didn’t wasn’t to sing or dance to. His “Love Story” touched everyone’s heart and was one of our favorite parts of the wedding. Meagan at Hype Girl is AMAZING!!! She’s not just talented but she’s a super kind human. I had her join me up at the Mt Washington resort to capture me and my team doing our thing at a really big wedding we were designing and running, and she truly is your Hype Girl. She made me feel important and attended to and she was so kind to my clients as well. I cannot recommend her enough.
If you want someone professional, talented and super sweet to be by your side on these important days (as a vendor or a couple) she’s your gal!
Kevin was absolutely amazing! The process was so relaxed and easy. We were pretty picky about our music and provided our own playlist, but Kevin put it in the perfect order and added his own remixes to it that really brought it to life. Our dance floor was full the whole night. He was kind, polite, easygoing and fun and we couldn’t recommend him more! Thanks Kevin!!!
Adam was absolutely PERFECT! He would come over to make sure everything was going well frequently and never missed a beat! I especially loved that the music choice he had for our reception was everything and more than I asked for! I could NOT stop dancing! I loved every song he played! At the end of the night I was surprised with a specialized CD for us of our special songs! If we ever have another event I will want him at it!

Our DJ Brien Lafferty was AMAZING! He had the best energy and played such a great variety of music as we had people of all different ages at our wedding. People are still talking about how great the music at our wedding was.! He listened to all of our requests for the songs we wanted in our ceremony introductions, and all of our important dances. His personality completely fit with our wedding guest and really made the entire night a blast.! We couldn’t have asked for a better fit for what we envisioned for our wedding night and highly recommend him for any event you are planning. I attended a wedding this past weekend that Joey Dion was DJing. What a great time!! He was so creative and so much fun!! At no point was he on “auto-pilot”. At one point, in one of the speeches, someone mentioned listening to Bone Thugs N Harmony when they were young, and as they finished the speech, he started playing “Crossroads”. Such a riot!! Everyone got a kick out of it!! He was so involve and kept the dance floor full all night. I’ve never been to an event where a DJ could read a crowd so well. My husband and I got married on 12.18.23 and Hayden was our DJ! When I tell you this man is AMAZING at his job I mean it!
