We got married 8.12.23 at granite Rose, our DJ, Lloyd Mnaphi, was amazing!! He fulfilled all of our requests, we had my sister in-law surprise officiant the ceremony and He did so good helping us keep that a secret until it was time. All of our guests never left the dance floor as soon as it was party time. We had a fun wedding party and he made this wedding unforgettable for us and our guests. Thank you for an amazing fun filled night as we became Mr&Mrs Dean !!! You were the perfect match to our party.
DJ Kibar was absolutely amazing!! He kept us updated on when we were doing any of our games and special things! He kept the guests on their feet, moving and having a great time!!! We couldn’t of had a better DJ!!!!

Adam was absolutely PERFECT! He would come over to make sure everything was going well frequently and never missed a beat! I especially loved that the music choice he had for our reception was everything and more than I asked for! I could NOT stop dancing! I loved every song he played! At the end of the night I was surprised with a specialized CD for us of our special songs! If we ever have another event I will want him at it!

If you can, book Tom Darling as your DJ; you certainly will not regret it! He was so easy to collaborate with, professional, personable, and so much fun. He took our playlist and used it perfectly while still adding in lots of music to get everybody out on the dance floor. People said to us after the wedding that they usually never spend that much time dancing! To top off his professionalism, he even drove home one of our guests who was without a ride at the end of the night. Such a gentleman! My husband and I can’t recommend him highly enough! Joey was amazing!! We are still getting compliments on how great the DJ was! He played a great variety of music and he knew what music got the crowd going! Everyone including my 80 year old grandparents were up on the dance floor with their hands up! He went above and beyond and made our wedding day one we will never forget. He was involving the crowd, played the music we asked for and I can honestly say we do not have one bad thing to say! I would hire him again and again and again. I have recommended him to all my friends who are getting married. The BEST DJ, I promise you that!

We had a great experience having Joey as our DJ and he did everything we expected. His price was what he said it would be. His sense of humor attracted us and we love that he’s down-to-earth. Also, we kept in mind the importance of him being the owner of Main Event and his past experience. I would say the best part of having Joey as our DJ would be his energetic attitude. We would highly recommend him, in fact we already have friends who are interested!
At our reception, he did a light show, bubbles, props and line dances. We continue to hear comments from friends and family that our reception was so much fun and that they had such a good time. It feels so good to hear that. We know Joey was such a huge part of making our wedding day memorable for not only us but for our guests.

Main Event made our day complete with beautiful music and well organized dj services. Tyler was a pleasure to work with, answering all of our questions and making adjustments to the line up when requested. We would recommend Main Event to anyone looking for a quality dj service with great staff, sound equipment, and musical lineups!
DJ Matt is the BEST! Not only was communication so easy and thorough, he has a great personality and is so talented. I’m a wedding photographer, so I see a lot of weddings and had no doubt in my mind that I wanted Main Event to be part of my day. Matt had the dance floor packed, was so kind to my family/guests, and has a great set up that suits every space. 10/10 would recommend – Main Event has it down!

We selected Brien Lafferty for our wedding DJ and couldn’t have been happier! We gave him a play list and he took requests as well. There was a mixed crowd and he paid very close attention to the room vibe. He coordinated closely with the photographer and reception schedule. He was terrific! All had a great time!

Meagan at Hype Girl is AMAZING!!! She’s not just talented but she’s a super kind human. I had her join me up at the Mt Washington resort to capture me and my team doing our thing at a really big wedding we were designing and running, and she truly is your Hype Girl. She made me feel important and attended to and she was so kind to my clients as well. I cannot recommend her enough.

I am not sure I can adequately explain how thrilled not only my husband and I were, but since the event I’ve had numerous phone calls full of praise him. Jay was the DJ for my combined 70th birthday and retirement party and we had asked for fairly specific artists, as the crowd was a bit older than what you would typically find at a wedding. However, the way Jay spun those tunes and the dancing on the floor, you would have thought you were in fact at a wedding! What a party! What a FABULOUS time! Over and above that, Jay is personable, knowledgeable and very professional and fun! I know we would hire him again in a heartbeat and I’m pretty sure some of the guests have his contact information. You won’t be disappointed going with Jay!

My wife Danielle and I had DJ Hayden for our wedding and he was excellent. We had a great feeling about him when we met him for our meeting on Zoom and when it came to the big day, he was spot on. He was very detail oriented, arrived early, and when our procession had a slight delay he adjusted the music on the fly to keep the timing correct. We didn’t have a huge dancing crowd but those of us on the dancefloor had a great time with his awesome music mixes. We would go with Hayden again if we needed another DJ.

Adam was our DJ for our 02/10/24 wedding. He was the central piece of our party! As we were planning the wedding, he took the time to get to know us via a zoom call to discuss the details. He helped us make music decisions in places we were really stuck, and helped bring our dreams to reality. He kept everyone engaged and our dance floor was packed all night! Adam was the perfect person for our day!
Kevin Maldonado was our DJ. And honestly he was phenomenal. He brought the energy all day. Was great at making all the announcements that was needed. The playist he made for us was great. 10 for 10 will be raving about him for years to come. Our guest have even asked about him and have all had great things to say. So needless to say we loved Kevin and sincerely hope that anyone who sees this chooses him for your special day. He definitely made our day memorable.

Matt did an amazing job at our wedding. He was polite, courteous and did everything we had discussed at our meetings. We asked for a couple changes last minute and he was so calm and amazing about it. He was fun and all our guests made comments on how terrific our dj was and asked us where we found him so if they needed an entertainer they could look him up, they loved him. We weren’t really sure what to expect going in but I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. The team at Main Event Entertainment greeted us right away. They were friendly and welcoming. They took the time to ask about our needs and go over their offerings with us. My fiance and I had joked about sampling DJ’s in order to find one for our wedding. In reality, this was the perfect opportunity to do just that. We really got a feel for each DJ and what sort of energy and experience they brought to the table. I’d recommend this experience to any couples planning their wedding and looking for the right DJ.

DJ Kibar was incredible! We had a very short time to plan our wedding and he worked with us and even made suggestions for venues. He was always flexible with meeting times and we had open communication. Everyone had an absolute blast and we rocked the dance floor! I need a vow renewal just so I can have DJ Kibar again.

Joey made our wedding fun and exciting for everyone. His energy, enthusiasm, and genuine love for being a DJ made our wedding phenomenal. Our friends and family all commented on what a great DJ we had found. Joey is not just a DJ – he makes you feel like you have known him your entire life. He is just as excited as you are to be getting married. He really made us feel special and he rocked the wedding. Never once did he play a song people didn’t wasn’t to sing or dance to. His “Love Story” touched everyone’s heart and was one of our favorite parts of the wedding. We hired Jay from Main Event for our wedding on 9/30/23. He was AMAZING! He was flexible when we requested to change our timeline DURING the wedding. Had all our family and friends dancing the night away. He was timely, respectful, fun, and i trusted him completely! Affordable for this industry. Would definitely hire him over and over again. Highly recommend!
Dan Pelletier was such a great DJ for our graduate school formal. He was sure to take our song requests without question. There was not a single song we did not like, and everyone had so much fun dancing and singing along. His attention to reading the crowd at times during dinner and when everyone was done eating with regards to song selection were spot on, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He was also prepared prior to the event start, which was so calming and reassuring to the event coordinators. We will definitely be contacting him for future events.
DJ Kelly Elliott was phenomenal! We received so many compliments during the reception about how she was doing with her music selection! She knew how to get as many people up and dancing as possible. Kelly walked us through every step of the planning process and made sure we didn’t forget any songs that we needed to choose for any part of our big day. She was respectable, polite and very personable. Highly recommended.

We booked DJ Kibar for our 12.21.23 wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made! Kibar was incredibly attentive and helpful from start to finish, and his professionalism yet fun attitude made it very easy to work with him. He kept the party going and did an amazing job. We had guests who we never thought we’d see dance on the dance floor, if that tells you anything!

One of the perks of using our wedding venue (Granite Rose in Hampstead, NH) is they include a DJ through Main Event Entertainment in our chosen package. We were given a worksheet to fill out with our music preferences, and Main Event Entertainment paired us with the perfect DJ, DJ Lloyd Mnaphi. The week before the wedding, we had an opportunity to speak with Lloyd. During this conversation we were able to go over all the details of the day and voice any opinions or concerns. Lloyd was very knowledgeable, easy going and funny and by the end of the phone call, we looked forward to having him be our DJ on the big day. Then the big day came and Lloyd did an incredible job! He made sure to check in with us and made sure everyone partied the night away. Once the event was over, we had numerous people approach us asking if we knew Lloyd before the wedding or if he was recommended. Many people were shocked to hear that he was assigned to us by Main Event Entertainment after only reviewing our worksheet. We would highly recommend Main Event Entertainment and Lloyd to people looking for a DJ or getting married at Granite Rose!
DJ Kevin Maldonado was fantastic at our holiday party for children & adults with special needs. We originally asked him to keep the sound low due to sensory concerns, but it turned out our folks loved the louder dance music! Kevin had everyone up on the floor, dancing until the end! He was very professional and considerate, and played the Happy Birthday song for one of our kids. He also accommodated requests and probably played “YMCA” at least twice. Kevin M. will be our choice to DJ for our next party. 🙂
